"Bonjour! Hi! Buenos dias!
As a French and English speaking professor, 61 years old, it might be quite difficult to learn and speak a third language.
Not with Amauta Spanish School!
The key of their success lies in the multi functional learning strategy that I could call "LA IMERCION TOTAL!" with "la familia española" 24 hours a day, within small classes of 4 to 6 students, we are involved in a cultural, political, historical, grammatical and dynamic environment.
The very competent professors know quite well how to manage not only young students, but also oldies like me with discussions, exercises, questions and answers.
That's the way to learn a new language, to cope with the locals and to make friends! All over the world!
Thanks Amauta"

"I would recommend Amauta because it is a good way of combining learning Spanish, meeting people from all over the world and exploring the Cusco area. The classes in Amauta are not like usual classes at school. Since the groups are very small, there is always a relaxed and fun atmosphere and the teachers are open for discussions on all kinds of subjects. We sometimes went on little excursions as well, e.g. to the Mercado San Pedro or an art museum. Furthermore, I found some really good friends among the Amauta students – really there wasn´t a day when I felt homesick or lonely. And of course Cusco is a great spot with lots of nightlife and many options of different activities, such as: rafting, paragliding, trips to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu or to the jungle. So if you want to learn Spanish in Peru, Amauta in Cusco is definitely a good choice."

"Amauta School is a really nice place to take your Spanish classes. They have really nice teachers and different classes. So you will start in a class on your own level. I didn’t speak any Spanish when I got here but I’m surprised how much I knew already after four weeks of group classes. I do understand a lot and I’m able to say what I want and to ask questions. The teachers also teach you a bit about the culture and history of Cusco. Which is really interesting the school is situated in a really nice building, close to the main square of Cusco and the most import places. So they are many restaurant and bars closeby.
At school you will meet people from all around the world, what gives you a nice opportunity to plan trips together during the weekends.
The school also gives you the opportunity to do a week of classes in Taray or Manu. I can really recommend the Manu Program. For 6 days you are living in the rainforest between exotic birds and different species of monkeys. You will have your normal group classes but also have guided trips every day. It’s an amazing experience"
